NAAMITES
Definition
(1) The "captain of the host" of the king of Syria, highly esteemed by the king, and a leper. He was miraculously cured of his leprosy by Elisha, a Hebrew prophet. (2) One of the family of Benjamin who came down to Egypt with Jacob. His descendants were called Naamites.
